Ho Chi Minh City: Over 500 businesses breached specialized inspection

Of which, 379 businesses were not permitted to take goods to their storage because they breached policy on Customs management for goods which were taken to their storage areas to wait for specialized inspection results (overdue 30 days but businesses have not submitted the specialized inspection results).
151 businesses submitted overdue specialized inspection results and were sanctioned for administrative violation and not permitted to take goods for storage within 6 months from the date of issuing the sanction decision.
Besides, 5 businesses submitted specialized inspection results and were sanctioned for administrative violation and not permitted to take goods for storage within 1 year since the date of issuing the sanction decision.

According to our understanding, the number of unlawful businesses taking goods to their storage, many of them have not operated business registration addresses and imported goods have been sold in the market.
Implementing Section C and D, Clause 6 Article 32 Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated 25th March 2015 of the Ministry of Finance on handling late submissions of specialized inspection results, Ho Chi Minh Customs has announced a list of the above mentioned businesses to local Customs units nationwide to coordinate implementation.
