Ho Chi Minh City Customs has nearly 19,000 Red Channel declarations, accounting for 35% of the whole sector

VCN - In terms of proportion, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department is in the top group of Red channel declarations among local departments. In specific quantity, the unit has the highest number of declarations with nearly 19,000.

According to information from the conference to review performance in July and deploy tasks in August of the General Department of Customs (August 4), the whole sector handled procedures for more than 1 million declarations in July.

Of which, Green channel declarations accounted for 52.77%; Yellow channel declarations 42.14%; and Red channel declarations 5.09%.

In July, there were five customs departments with 100,000 declarations or more, including: Ho Chi Minh City,Binh Duong, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh and Hanoi with 240,547; 153,326; 149,016; 119,525 and 108,900, respectively.

Out of 35 local customs departments, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department is the unit with the highest number of Red channel declarations with18,886, accounting for 7.85% of the total declarations of the whole department and accounting for 35% of the total declarations of the Red channel of the sector in July 2020.

In terms of proportion, with the figure of 7.85%, the Ho Chi Minh CityCustoms Department is also in the top group in the rate of Red channel declarations for the whole sector and much higher than the rate of the other four units with "hundred thousand" declarations in July.

Regarding detection of violations, in July, seven local customs departments detected 100 illegal declarations or more.

Of which, Hai Phong Customs Department detected the highest number of 368 declarations with 945 violating organizations and individuals.
