HCMC Customs has to collect nearly 22 trillion in the last two months

According to statistics from the Import-Export Duty Division - HCMC Customs Department, the collected tax amount in October reached 8,601,355 billion VND, up 6.6% compared to September 2017 (8.036,478 billion VND).
Accordingly, accumulative to 31 October 2017, the HCMC Customs Department collected 87,153 billion VND, reaching 79.95% of the target of 109 trillion VND, and 79.23% of the striving target (110,000 billion VND), a year-over-year increase of 7.62%.
Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department from now until the end of the year has to collect 21,850 billion VND, accounting for 44.07% of total revenue of the sector. This is a heavy task which requires the Department to collect 11 trillion per month.
