According to HCM City Customs Department, the revenue from price rulings and post audit surged 143% to VND637 billion compared with the same period last year. Of those, the revenue from price rulings rose 175.3% to VND608 billion from a year ago, from post clearance audit of nearly VND29 billion.
1st Sai Gon Seaport Customs Branch recorded the highest additional revenue of over VND500 billion from price rulings.
According to Deputy Manager of 1st Sai Gon Seaport Customs Branch, the increase in revenue results from the price rulings for imported cars of less than nine seats under the regime of donations and gifts with additional revenue of more than VND500 billion.
In the remaining months of 2021, HCM City Customs Department will strengthen inspection for taxable value and conduct price rulings for key commodity groups with high taxable value to prevent revenue loss, contributing to completing the target.
