Representatives of 126 FDI enterprises in the area under the management by the branch attended the conference. At the conference, the branch focused on guiding enterprises to prepare settlement reports and disseminate regulations of Customs Law in 2024.
Manager of Hai Phong Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch Nguyen Truong Son, guidance and dialogue activities are one of the key contents to strengthen the Customs-Enterprise partnership.
At the Conference, the Customs published the important contents stated in the Agreement on developing the Customs-Business partnership and in plans on digital transformation and administrative reform in 2024 of the department for businesses to understand.
At the Conference, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Taxation and Customs (Academy of Finance) gave the instruction on “making final settlement reports” for goods processed and manufactured for export, processed goods, with a strict legal frame work and practical contents.
The department leaders and lecturers thoroughly answered 20 questions raised by businesses at the Conference.
Hai Phong Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch is assigned to control five industrial parks in the area, including: Nomura, Trang Due, An Duong, VSIP and Nam Cau Kien.
About 200 businesses have carried out procedures at the department, which mainly operate in export processing and manufacturing regime.
