Hai Phong Customs contributes 62.6% of city’s revenue

At a meeting on State revenue results in the first four months of 2023 on May 16, representatives of Hai Phong Department of Finance reported that the total revenue in April and in the first four months of the year reached VND7.789 billion and VND31,831.9 billion, respectively, meeting 30.4% of the estimate assigned by the Central government and 27.3% of target assigned by local government, and equal to 88.7% year-on-year.
The domestic revenue in April recorded VND2,470.9 billion, reaching 33.8% of the estimate assigned by the Central government and 24.9% of the target assigned by the local government, and equal to 80.6 % year-on-year.
The revenue in Hai Phong City achieved VND5,306.3 billion in April and VND19,929.8 billion in four months, reaching 28.5% of the estimate, equal to 92.5% compared with the year ago.
In the first four months of the year, the department contributed 62.5% to the total city’s revenue.
To ensure the effective implementation of the revenue target in 2023, Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee Le Anh Quan directed departments, sectors and localities to provide solutions to fulfill the key task. Implementing solutions to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for production and business activities is necessary.
