Hai Phong Customs collects VND25,210 billion for the State budget

According to Hai Phong Customs Department, by the end of April, the whole Department's revenue collection reached VND25,210 billion, equaling 39.62% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND63,630 billion), equivalent to 37.6% compared to the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (VND67,050 billion), an increase of VND4,437.85 billion (equivalent to 21.36%) over the same period in 2021 (VND20,772.14 billion).

Notably, Hai Phong area collected VND21,515.52 billion, reaching 38.47% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND55,930 billion), achieving 36.6% of the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (VND58,800 billion), reaching 35.86% of the target assigned by Hai Phong City People's Committee (VND60,000 billion), an increase of VND3,385.54 billion (equivalent to 18.67%) over the same period in 2021.

By the end of April, there were eight out of nine branches under Hai Phong Customs Department with revenue collection of VND1,000 billion or more. In particular, Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch has the largest revenue with VND7,330 billion, reaching 36.06% of the whole year’s target.

The branch with the lowest result is Hai Duong Customs Branch with VND912.5 billion, reaching 36.5% of the whole year’s target.

The import-export turnover of goods carried out procedures at Hai Phong Customs Department by the end of April reached more than US$37 billion.
