Hai Phong collects nearly 766 billion VND from seaport fees

In July, Hai An district has deployed 16 charge points, in that 2 collection points operate up to 20 hours daily. In 2018, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City allocated Hai Anh district to collect 1,800 billion VND from fees of using infrastructure facilities, public utility works and facilities in border areas. So it increased by 16% compared to 2017.
Regarding the work of collecting fees for the use of infrastructure works, service works, public facilities in border areas and seaports, Hai An district has arranged human resources to coordinate well with the competent forces at 8 ports including: Hoang Dieu, Ha Long fishing port, Doan Xa, Nam Hai, Transvina, Green Port, Nam Hai Dinh Vu, and Vip Green Port.
From 1/1/2017, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City has implemented Resolution No. 148/2016 / NQ-HDND, dated 13/12/2016 of the People's Council of Hai Phong City on stipulating the rates, the regime of collection, remittance, management and the using fees of infrastructure, service works, and public facilities in the area of Hai Phong seaport.
Accordingly, the charge applied to goods temporarily imported and re-exported, goods in transit, good stored in bonded warehouse is 2.2 million VND/container of 20 feet of dried goods and 4.4 million VND/container of 40 feet of dried goods, 2.3 million VND/container of 20 feet of refrigerated goods and 8million VND/ container of 40 feet for refrigerated goods, and 50,000 VND/ton for liquid cargo, bulk cargo...
On 8/12/2017, the People's Council of Hai Phong City issued Resolution No.24/2017/NQ-HDND amending the Resolution No. 148/2016/NQ-HDND. Thus the Resolution No.24 is valid from 1/1/2018.
Accordingly, the rates of charges for the use of works, infrastructures, public service facilities and facilities in the Hai Phong port for the imported or exported goods which are liquid goods and bulk goods have been adjusted to decrease from 20,000 VND/ton to 16,000 VND/ton (reduced by 20%).
