Ha Tinh Customs coordinates to seize 6,000 tablets of ecstacy

VCN – According to Ha Tinh Customs Department, Cau Treo Customs Branch worked with competent force in the area to arrest a person transporting 6,000 ecstasy tablets.

On January 6, 2020, the Anti-drugs Enforcement Unit, Huong Son District Police worked with Cau Treo Customs Branch; the Division of Police investigating drug-related crimes and the Flying Squad Division to arrest Ha Giong Li (born in 1968, living in Phu Quac 2 village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province) on suspicion of trading and illegally transporting narcotics. Authorities seized 6,000 ecstasy tablets.

Ha Giong Ly admitted that, on January 2, 2020, he went to the Vietnam - Laos border area to buy drugs from an unknown Laos person and took them to his house to hide and later sell.

The subject and drugs have been handed over to the investigation agency for further investigation.
