VCN – Through a discussion with Customs News reporter, Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department Luong Truong Tho said that, the Anti-drug Enforcement Team and Crime prevention Special force No.2 Coast guard have coordinated with Ha Tinh police in order to arrest a woman who was illegally transporting three bars of heroin.

Accordingly, at 3:30 PM on 25/12, in Hamlet 7, Cam Minh Commune, Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh province, the working group successfully destroyed the special project code CA / HQHT-CSB 006. The force arrested Tran Thi Hoa (born in 1972, permanently lives in Bao Thanh, Yen Thanh District, Nghe An Province), for the act of illegal transport of narcotics.

There, the working group seized exhibits including 3 bars of heroin, VND 85 million in cash and 2 mobile phones.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Trung, the head of the Anti-drug Enforcement Team, Ha Tinh Customs Department, this is the result of fighting at the highest level against smuggling, trade fraud, illegal transportation of goods and cross border drug smuggling, before and after the Lunar New Year 2018 under the plan No. 171 / KH-DMT dated 18/12/2017.

Furthermore, Mr. Trung said that the working group has escorted the woman and exhibits to the Coast Guard headquarters for further investigation for clarification.
