Ha Nam Ninh Customs accompanies typical enterprises of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces

VCN - On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, on October 9, in Ninh Binh City, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department held a conference to meet, congratulate and honor typical entrepreneurs and enterprises representing nearly 1,000 enterprises regularly carrying out customs procedures in the three provinces of Ninh Binh, Ha Nam and Nam Dinh.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Nguyen Thu Nhieu emphasized that since its establishment in 2016, Ha Nam Ninh Customs has always prioritized and focused on developing partnerships with businesses. This partnership has yielded positive results for both the customs authority and the business community.

Ha Nam Ninh Customs has strictly adhered to the customer service declaration and the motto of the customs sector: "Professional - Transparent - Efficient," actively building a digital customs model and smart customs, creating favorable conditions for businesses importing and exporting goods in the three provinces of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh.

Highlighting the contributions of the business community to the development of Ha Nam Ninh Customs, Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu commended the efforts to overcome difficulties and the achievements in production and import-export activities of businesses.

Ha Nam Ninh Customs always acknowledges the positive contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs to the import-export results in the area over the past time.

On this occasion, Ha Nam Ninh Customs selected 35 outstanding businesses to award commemorative medals and 11 businesses with achievements based on criteria related to the level of compliance with the law and the cooperative relationship with the customs authority to award certificates of merit.

This is an acknowledgment of businesses and also a channel to spread information so that more and more businesses in the area can become partners and cooperate with the customs authority.

The support and companionship of the business community have helped Ha Nam Ninh Customs to effectively perform its state management functions on customs in the three provinces of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of localities, Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu emphasized.

On behalf of Ha Nam Ninh Customs, Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu pledged to continue strengthening cooperation, creating favorable conditions for businesses and stakeholders to participate in perfecting the legal framework, enhancing management capacity, and enforcing the law of each party, resolving difficulties and obstacles in the customs clearance process in a timely and effective manner.

Ha Nam Ninh Customs will focus on administrative reform with the goal of continuing to significantly improve the business environment and create a fair competitive environment for the business community. Thereby, promoting the implementation of digital transformation, while supporting the digital transformation of businesses to ensure synchronization with the customs sector.

The customs authority hopes that the business community and entrepreneurs will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, play a proactive and united role, overcome difficulties and challenges to continue investing in production, doing business effectively, promoting import-export activities, and making worthy contributions to the socio-economic development of the area.

From the perspective of businesses, Mr. Lee Jae Beom - Director of Finance and Import-Export of Seoul Semiconductor ViNa Company shared that the company has had 8 years of investment in production and business in Ha Nam Ninh. In the process of operation, the business has always received the attention and facilitation of the customs authority. Currently, the business has a plan to continue increasing its investment in Vietnam in the next 10 years.

Meanwhile, according to Au Manh Toan, Head of Import-Export Department of Hyundai Thanh Cong - Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, the customs authority in general and Ha Nam Ninh Customs in particular have always proactively removed difficulties for businesses.

In the coming time, to facilitate businesses further, Mr. Au Manh Toan expects the customs authority to have a solution to upgrade the transmission line so that the electronic customs clearance system is smooth, contributing to shortening the customs clearance time for businesses.

Listening to resolve

Within the framework of the meeting, Ha Nam Ninh Customs also organized a dialogue to listen to, accept, and identify solutions to address the difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses in import-export activities and production, business within their authority.

Here, representatives of businesses reflected on some difficulties and obstacles related to procedures for businesses processing leased warehouses, manufacturing plants; businesses processing leased domestic businesses; fulfilling processing contracts for customers, raw materials; especially, the group of customs procedures for on-site goods invoices...

The timely answers from the leadership of Ha Nam Ninh Customs have helped businesses grasp and update new customs laws and regulations, thereby effectively applying them to the production, business, import-export activities of each business.

In addition, the leadership of Ha Nam Ninh Customs has shared some notes, requesting the business community to pay attention, improve their sense of self-discipline, strictly comply with the law, and strengthen partnerships with the customs authority.
