The procedure of granting the certificate for seafood shipment exports to the Chinese market will be carried out through National Single Window since 2015.
On January 20, 2021, National Argo-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) issued a document on the supplementation of sample certificate of exporting live seafood to Chinese market through the National Single Window. The General Department of Vietnam Customs issued guidance on the implementation for local customs departments.
Since February 4, 2021, National Argo-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department will supplement the procedures for granting sample of certificate for live seafood exported to Chinese market through National Single Window.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs directed local customs departments to decentralise the right of using function of looking up for a certificate of live seafood exported to the Chinese market on the e-customs system to customs officials.
In case of necessity, customs officials will be requested at branches to access the centralised e-customs system to look up and exploit certificates for shipments of live seafood exported to the Chinese market and does not require enterprises to submit a paper copy of the license issued through the National Single Window when carrying out customs procedures.
