General Department of Vietnam Customs listens and answers problems for FDI enterprises

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Customs Supervision and Control Department; Import-Export Duty Department, Customs Reform and Modernization Board; together with representatives of more than 30 FDI enterprises.
Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the Customs Reform and Modernization Board (General Department of Vietnam Customs) emphasized the implementation of the cooperation agreement between Vietnam Customs and the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) Alliance and deployed cooperative activities in 2024. Based on VBF's proposal, General Department of Vietnam Customs coordinated with VBF to organize periodic meetings with FDI enterprises in the first quarter of 2024.
On behalf of the VBF Board of Directors, Mr. David Whitehead (VBF member and vice President of the Australian Business Association) sent his thanks to the leaders of Vietnam Customs for coordinating with VBF to organize a working session to listen to answer problems relating to tax policies and customs procedures.
VBF wishes to continue to receive the coordination of General Department of Vietnam Customs to support member FDI enterprises to operate stably and develop in 2024.
At the meeting, representatives of departments under General Department of Vietnam Customs focused on answering 12 issues that FDI enterprises are concerned such as those related to on-site imports and exports; goods traded between export processing enterprises and contractors; multi-party trading with the participation of foreign traders present in Vietnam; export processing enterprises hire other export processing enterprises to process...
