Four customs branches’ revenue reaches trillion VND

Hai Phong Customs Department’s revenue in February reached VND 4,493 billion, down VND 511 billion month-on-month.
Due to the week-long Lunar New year holiday, import turnover of major commodity groups fell sharply.
Specifically, the import turnover of cars reached US$66.91million, decreasing by 12.8%, motorbikes reached $0.42 million, declining by 56.9%; petroleum products reached $39.52 million, falling by 6.6%; iron and steel reached $162.04 million, decreasing by 4.8%.
By the end of February, four of nine customs branches under Hai Phong Customs Department collected from VND 1,000 billion or more.
Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch of Zone 1 collected VND 2,780 billion. Inthe past year, the branch has collected the highest revenue because auto importsaremainly conducted in this area.
Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch of Zone 3 collected VND 1,530 billion, Dinh Vu Seaport Customs Branch collected VND 1,437 billion, Investment and Processing Customs Branch collected VND 1,394 billion.
