VCN- In order to create favorable conditions for businesses to carry out Customs procedures, the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has requested municipal and provincial Customs Departments to develop their working plans and assign Customs officers to work every day of the week (including Saturday and Sunday from now until the end of 31st December 2017) at Customs check points, ensuring smooth clearance time 24/7.

Also, the GDVC has sent an official letter to all commercial banks which have coordinated with the GDVC in revenue collection to request banks to arrange collection points and working times in accordance with the Customs authorities working times to ensure prompt revenue collection for State budget.

According to GDVC statistics, until the end of 24th December 2017, the State revenue of the entire Customs sector reached over VND 285,413 billion, reaching 100.14% of target set out and 95.92% of additional target assigned by the Ministry of Finance. Only 5 days remain to fulfill the revenue collection task, so the GDVC has requested municipal and provincial Customs Departments to create the most favorable conditions for businesses’ import and export activities.
