The Narcotics Prevention and Smuggling unit arrested smugglers with 24,000 methamphetamine pills and 5 packages of heroin from Laos into Viet Nam.

On September 7, the Narcotics Prevention and Smuggling Unit of Dien Bien Customs Department coordinated with related forces to arrest 03 people who were trafficking 8 packages of heroin and 1,188 methamphetamine pills.

Narcotics seized at night on August 31, 2016.

At 8 a.m. on September 7th, 2016 in Dien Bien province, under specific case coded 816C, the Narcotics Prevention and Smuggling unit in coordination with Dien Bien Police and Division PC47 successfully identified a case of trafficking drugs, arresting 3 people (2 men and 1 woman) and seizing 8 packages of heroin, 1,188 methamphetamine pills, 1 car with four seats, 4 hand phones and related items.

Now the functional forces are further investigating the case.

So, in only a few days, the Narcotics Prevention and Smuggling Unit has arrested 2 drugs cases.

At night on August 31, 2016 in Nam Po district, Dien Bien province, the Narcotics Prevention and Smuggling unit arrested smugglers with 24,000 methamphetamine pills and 5 packages of heroin from Laos into Viet Nam.
