At 1:00 p.m. on April 12, at Cau Treo entry border gate, the law enforcement inspected a tractor truck with Registration license BKS 29F-732.66 and a trailer with Registration license 29R-070.43 operated by Nguyen Van Van, born in 1989, residing in Dong Nam village, Thien Loc commune, Can Loc district) for showing signs of transporting prohibited goods.

Through the inspection, the enforcement force discovered 53 boxes of fireworks, weighing 77 kg.

Nguyen Van Van sai that he bought the fireworks worth VND 1,500,000 from Laos and hid them in the tractor truck to transport to Vietnam and sell for profit.

Currently, the law enforcement forces have investigated the case.
