An Giang Customs collects over VND 3 billion in tax debt

An Giang Customs Department has announced a list of 25 businesses that owe import and export taxes worth over VND4 billion, decreasing more than three billion compared to the previous month.
The department said that the department collected over 3.1 billion in 90-day overdue tax debt in March of a local company.

In order to effectively collect tax debt, An Giang Customs Department has reviewed debt classification and applied tax debt enforcement measures as per the Law on Tax Administration. However, there are many tax debts are subject to irrecoverable tax debts for many years.
