On the afternoon of February 14, the ceremony to announce the decision to appoint Dang Cong Thanh as Deputy Director of Hai Phong Customs Department took place at the department’s headquarters.

GDVC’s Deputy Director General Nguyen Van Tho and Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Anh Quan chaired the announcement ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of Standing Office of National Steering Committee 389; the GDVC’s Department of Organization and Personnel, the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department, Hai Phong City Party Committee and heads of Hai Phong Customs Department.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director General Nguyen Van Tho said Mr. Dang Cong Thanh has been an experienced and qualified officer in the Customs sector since 1996. He always fulfills his tasks and is recognized and rewarded by senior leaders.

The Deputy Director General requested Deputy Director Dang Cong Thanh to promote his experience and ability to work in the new position with the highest responsibility to accomplish the tasks.

The Deputy Director General suggested that the leaders and officials of Hai Phong Customs Department continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, support and create conditions for the new Deputy Director Dang Cong Thanh to perform the tasks.

At the ceremony, Director of Hai Phong Customs Department Nguyen Duy Ngoc expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, GDVC and local government for their facilitation to perfect the department’s organizational structure.

"The department’s leadership always accompanies Deputy Director Dang Cong Thanh to accomplish his duties,” Director Nguyen Duy Ngoc said.

Deputy Director Dang Cong Thanh expressed his determination to make great efforts to perform his new duties.
