Danang Customs implements four solutions for developing partnerships

Specifically, Da Nang Customs Department supported businesses to improve their level of compliance, minimize risks in import and export activities; facilitate enterprises in carrying out customs procedures, reduce costs for businesses; accompanying enterprises to perform the task of State revenue collection; promoting modernization and facilitating import-export activities of enterprises.

In 2019, the cooperation activities with the business community are implemented in various forms by Danang Customs. The department set up a working group and sent to Danang International Airport (ACV), Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation JSC (AHT), Danang Port Joint Stock Company, and Da Nang Port Logistics Joint Stock Company (Danalog) and seven large enterprises in the area to disseminate a number of solutions to develop Customs - Business partnerships. At the same time, exchanging information, listening and solving difficulties. At the working session, the department directly answered 32 questions and recommendations from enterprises.

Besides that, the communication and support activities have been carried out in many forms including organizing dialogues with enterprises for training and guidance on the implementation of regulations, new customs procedures; or legal advice, receiving and solving problems in the form of responding by documents, answering questions directly at the customs office, resolving at the dialogue conference, answering questions via telephone, answering problems through the FAQs on the website.

Tools and utilities to support businesses have been researched and applied during the year in order to improve service quality including: email; hotline; team solving problems in the customs branches and in the department; advice column on the Customs Department's website; consultations in the process of carrying out customs procedures; periodic dialogue at the customs branches and at the department.

Besides that, Danang Customs Department also focused on conducting consultations with the business community. The results have basically solved many problems of enterprises related to customs procedures. The difficulties are mainly related to facilitating import and export activities of the business. The problems which are beyond the department's authority for answering, have been transferred to the competent authority and reported to the General Department of Vietnam Customs. After receiving the responses of the stakeholders, the department has made it public for the business community.

By applying many measures already implemented, the enterprises' satisfaction with customs operations is highly appreciated. At the address of assessing the quality of public administrative services on the Single Window system of Da Nang city, from the beginning of the year until now, the result showed that there were 499/499 votes (accounting for 100%) satisfaction level for solving administrative procedures of Danang Customs Department.
