Scenario 2: Recording community cases

Scenario 3: Community Covid-19 transmission and outbreak

For scenario 1, customs units are assigned to update information on the developments of the Covid-19 pandemic in the world and in the country, update information and documents of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee, the Ministry of Health, agencies and the city; promptly advise leaders of the department on pandemic prevention and control; report on the pandemic situation in a timely fashion and realise directions of the Government, the Ministry of Health, the General Department of Customs and the city.

At the same time, update media messages, communication materials, and pandemic prevention and control measures; review and inspect means and equipment for pandemic prevention and control; propose equipment procurement to stayready to respond to the pandemic; and encourage civil servants, public employees and employees to use information technology in their work.

Take monitoring measures for people entering and leaving the office, check body temperatures at the gate using an infrared thermometer; wash hands with soap and antiseptic solution before entering the office; weara mask; keep a safe distance and consider suspending non-urgent mass gathering activities of the department and units.

In addition, strengthen regular cleaning and disinfection of areas at high risk of infection (door handles, elevator buttons, etc.), and arrange disinfection tables at exit and entry points of the office.

When learning that civil servants, contracted employees, and employees have suspicious symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.), the department will ask those people to stay off from work, self-isolation at home and contact the nearest medical agency for advice, support, testing, and report the health status and test results of the people to the department's leaders through the Office unit for timely monitoring and treatment measures.

Following the pandemic development in the area, Da Nang Customs Department has asked its units to take measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic at the department’s headquarters according to scenario 3.

The units will assign civil servants, contracted employees, and employees to work in shifts to prevent the pandemic and perform their tasks.

In addition, the units must seriously and drastically implement measures to control and prevent the Covid-19 pandemic in scenarios 1 and 2.

Customs units’ leaders notify each civil servant, public employee and employee of the directives of the Government, the Ministry of Health, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, agencies and the city; ask customs officers to take measures to prevent the pandemic and participate in voluntary medical declarations, fully implement measures to protect themselves, their families and colleagues, and join general pandemic control and prevention.

Based on the direction of the Government, ministries, agencies and the city, the department’s leaders have decided on the form of work: in shifts andonline working to ensure effective pandemic prevention and control.
