Customs sector has signed cooperation agreements with 52 enterprises and business associations

The cooperation activities between 2 parties are implemented by following the contents under a cooperation agreement. In particular, in 2017, General Department of Customs signed 2 agreements with Japan Business Association in Vietnam and Vietnam Logistic Business Association. Also, provincial Customs Departments have signed 145 agreements for cooperation status with enterprises and the Associations in the area.
Binh Duong Customs Department has signed 7 cooperation statutes with 7 associations in the area (including Taiwan Business Association, Korea Business Association, Japan Business Association, Europe, China, Import & Export Timber Association); already signed cooperation status for information exchange and support enterprises.
Furthermore, Dong Nai Customs Department signed 2 memorandums of understanding (MoU) and 9 cooperation status agreements with port enterprises, and ICD area regarding cooperation status in supervision and goods control at the warehouse; supervision and goods control via surveillance camera systems in ports and ICD area.
The cooperation activities are organized regularly by Customs authorities at all levels. They proactively plan, organize and invite business associations to participate by focusing on the following topics: consultation on policy development, receiving complaints and reflecting on the recommendations from enterprises and associations, and offer to participate in customs survey assessments (such as customer satisfaction survey, survey the implementation of commitments to customers service, and survey on planning content for the interface of the Customs - Business category).
Through the regular collaborative activities, it has contributed to connecting the customs authorities and the business community more closely, thereby building understanding, agreement and cooperation between the parties.
