Specifically, Da Nang Customs Department reached 103.05%; Khanh Hoa Customs Department reached 105.97%; Thua Thien Hue Customs Department reached 103.1%; Dak Lak Customs Department reached 109.02%; and Ca Mau Customs Department reached 141.13% of the target. In addition, some other units nearly reached the revenue targets such as Binh Phuoc Customs Department with 98.88% of the target.

The reason for the excessive revenues is a large increase of imports and exports. Specifically, in Da Nang, there has been a significant increase in the number of taxable imported goods, especially automobiles.

In Khanh Hoa Customs Department, according to Mr. Tran Minh Tuan, Head of Professional Division, the revenue increased due to the impact of imported oil and petroleum, because this revenue accounts for 94% of the total revenue of Khanh Hoa Customs Department. In fact, in the first 7 months of 2016, the amount of imported petroleum through Van Phong port increased, which promoted State budget revenues significantly and met the revenue target of the State budget.

Regarding the excessive Customs revenue of Thua Thien Hue Customs Department, the Director of Thua Thien Hue Customs Department, Mr. Hoang Van Hien said in the first 7 months of 2016, the total budget revenue increased by 44.92% over the same period in 2015 due to an increase of 38.7% of taxable goods (equivalent to an increase of $US 25.76 million): mainly for investment projects, automobile spare parts and raw materials for production of beer cans. This helped Thua Thien Hue Customs Department meet the revenue target of the State budget.
