Customs industry improves discipline in performing public services

Accordingly, the GDVC requests the units to comply with the Party's regulations and the State laws on strengthening discipline in public service performance; rotate and mobilize working positions of customs officers; strengthen control of the power and responsibility of the leader in personnel management; prevent corruption and comply with directions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance in Resolution No. 06-NQ/BCS dated March 1, 2023, Directive No. 01/CT-BTC dated March 1, 2023 of the Ministry of Finance, Official Dispatch No. 5807/BTC-VP dated June 5, 2024, other resolutions, directives, and guiding documents of the Ministry of Finance and the GDVC for this work.
The GDVC requires the units to promote the inspection of public duty performance by civil servants and public employees; not to take advantage of the working position to support smuggling, trade fraud...; and prohibit acts of corruption and bribery.
In addition, the GDVC also directs the units to focus on effectively fighting smuggling, trade fraud, banned goods and strictly handle customs offences in line with the provisions of law.
