Customs are ready to work overtime to promote exporting pork

In addition, Customs authorities also prioritise settlement to export procedure for pork and pork meat shipments that have a domestic origin. They only allow re-exporting frozen meat and by-product of pork after already export domestic pork and meat pork shipments that waiting to clearance at border gate.
On the other hand, the procedures for inspection and supervision also are implemented faster, most favourable for export enterprises of pork.
General Department of Customs suggested that Provincial People’s Committee should extend closing and opening time of border gate (in the necessary case) in order to settle export procedure for port and meat pork; ensuring technical infrastructure (warehouse, electricity, water,…) to serve for storage, preservation of exported pork and meat pork.
The professional units (Customs Branch at border gate, Customs Enforcement team) coordinate to competent forces to enhance inspection and control of temporary import and re-export of frozen meat, by – product of pork. Also, strictly handling regulative violation cases.
