Consignee refused to receive a shipment of 20 packs of used medical equipment

In 2 days (13/10 and 19/10), at Tan Vu Port and exhibit storage of Haiphong Customs Department, Unit 1 cooperated with Hai Phong Customs Enforcement Unit, Hai Phong Port area 1 Customs Branch (Hai Phong Customs Department) to conduct physical inspection for all goods inside 2 containers

Through the solicitation of identification, the goods were used medical equipment, including 20 packs (details of goods name, quantity, type, status under assessment certification of Vinacontrol Hai Phong Branch).

According to the information on the bill of lading, goods were imported by Yen Minh Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. This company had sent the document to refuse to receive the goods. The declaration on the bill of lading is medical equipment, but they did not declare as new or used goods.

The case is being investigated and verified by the Unit 1 in cooperation with related units in accordance with regulation.
