Information on the volume of vehicles at land border gate on the National Single Window.

At 10:30am on February 9, a Customs News reporter accessed the address https://www.vnsw.gov.vn, and the section "Vehicle density map” to search for the traffic flow at the border gate.

In the morning, there were no localities in the Northern border that saw the red-warning level (the highest warning level with over 5,000 vehicles).

Three provinces with the Orange-warning level (the volume of vehicles from over 1,000 to 5,000) included Lang Son, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai.

The number of vehicles at Border Gates of Huu Nghi, Coc Nam, Tan Thanh, Dong Dang Station was 953, 835, 638 and 741, respectively. Only few dozen vehicles were at other border gates.

Mong Cai City in Quang Ninh province saw the largest volume of vehicles with over 1,000 vehicles, including 385 vehicles at the border gate and 719 vehicles at the warehouse of Thanh Dat Company.

Hoanh Mo Border Gate had 33 vehicles and four vehicles at Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate.

In Lao Cai, 785 vehicles were at the International Border Gate No.II Kim Thanh and 885 vehicles at Lao Cai International Railway Station.

The remaining four localities including Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, and Dien Bien saw the Green-warning level (under 500 vehicles).

The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) officially launched the Anti-congestion warning application of goods and vehicles at border gates on the National Single Window on January 27.

The vehicle flow at border gates is updated in real-time and publicized on the National Single Window Portal at https://www.vnsw.gov.vn.

The status of vehicles at the border gate is shown on an intuitive and friendly interface with four levels, including Red level (the highest warning level with over 5,000 vehicles), Orange level (the volume of vehicles from over 1,000 to 5,000 vehicles), Yellow level (the volume of the vehicle from over 500 to 1,000 vehicles) and Green level (under 500 vehicles). State agencies, businesses, and vehicle operators can search for information via their computer or smart device.

The users can look up the congestion at all border gates in real-time, thereby, actively making and adjusting import-export plans and transportation plans in accordance with the actual situation; avoiding the congestion of goods and vehicles at the border gate, saving logistics costs, and minimizing damage and risks.

The anti-congestion warning application based on the achievements and new applications of information technology is launched by the GDVC, the Ministry of Finance with the coordination of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam and the Ministry of Transport, aiming to follow the Government's direction on drastically implementing solutions to reduce congestion, remove difficulties for businesses, and create favorable conditions for imports and exports across land border gates.
