This is one of the activities to implement Customs-Business Partnership Development Plan in 2023 of Bac Ninh Customs Department.
At the working session, the working team listens to feedback of enterprises on production and business activities, introduced investment models and goals in Vietnam.
The businesses also expressed their desire to continue to be supported in import and export activities, and answered tax incentives for raw materials for production.
At the working sessions, Director of Bac Ninh Customs Department Tran Duc Hung noted the impressive results that businesses have achieved, contributing to the process of production and business activities.
Director Tran Duc Hung said that the department will support and accompany businesses in import and export activities in the area, thereby attracting investors to Vietnam. The department hopes that businesses will continue to actively discuss with the Customs on matters related to Customs and Tax policies so the Customs will instruct and support enterprises.
At the end of June, 5,075 enterprises have carried out customs procedures in the area under management of Bac Ninh Customs Department.
The import and export regime mainly are exported goods not subject to tax of export processing enterprises; tax exemption and some taxable regimes such as import of machinery and equipment; imports for business and production; imports for consumer business…

Recognizing the difficult situation of the business community from the beginning of 2023, leaders of Bac Ninh Customs Department proposed solutions to remove difficulties, facilitate and support local businesses in production, business, import and export of goods.
In addition, the department always focuses on improving the qualification of officers, enhancing equipment and facilities, IT infrastructure, promoting reform and modernization for the implementation of smart customs.
Bac Ninh Customs Department considers the development of the Customs-Business partnership and related parties a key factor in creating consensus in the business community to accomplish political tasks.
Every year, Bac Ninh Customs Department and its customs branches organize Customs -Business dialogues in their management areas, this is an important and practical forum for the Customs to directly dialogue with businesses, listen to the difficulties, problems and recommendations of the business community in the state management of Customs area.
At the same time, it is a forum for the Customs to disseminate new mechanisms, policies and regulations related to import and export activities of enterprises; promptly remove difficulties for the smooth operation of enterprises.
Bac Ninh Customs Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Action Plan with 12 enterprises participating in the Program to support enterprises to voluntarily comply with Customs laws under Decision 1399/QD-TCHQ dated July 15, 2022.
The goal of the "Pilot program to support and encourage businesses to voluntarily comply with customs laws" is aimed at 80% of participating enterprises to increase their compliance level or maintain a high compliance level.
The participation of the program has brought benefits the business community and improve the management efficiency of Customs and State management agencies, created a transparent business environment, and improve national competitiveness.
