At the conference, Deputy Director General Luu Manh Tuong highly appreciated great efforts of officers under Bac Ninh Customs Department to overcome difficulties to accomplish huge workload, contributing to the achievement of the Customs sector. The department has hit target in line with the import-export growth rate, as well as the tax management.

The department has also provided solutions; analyzed turnover and enterprises, as well as assessed the actual situation to build the revenue estimate in the near future.

Regarding inspection and supervision of goods, prevention of smuggling and trade fraud, the Deputy Director General requested Bac Ninh Customs Department to properly assess the management objects, especially the control of precursors, and closely monitor goods at warehouses and yards, non-tariff zone...

Regarding risk management, post-clearance audit, inspection and examination, the department has promoted information analysis and collection; assess the actual situation to inspect and supervise.

In addition, the department needs to strengthen training plans... to fully meet the standards for officers while still ensuring management, and require officers to maintain public discipline.
