A director prosecuted for manufacturing and trading fake goods

VCN- Tran Tri Manh, a director of Gia Thinh Production and Trading Co., Ltd, has been prosecuted by An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Division for act of "manufacturing and trading fake goods”, An Giang Police said on March 15.

An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Division arrested Tran Tri Manh on March 2. At the same time, the division inspected the residence of Manh, which is a branch of Gia Thinh Production and Trading Co., Ltd, and an auto spare parts warehouse of the firmat Street No. 8, Ngoc Hau, Chau Phu A ward, Chau Doc City.

During inspection, the police force made a report on the temporary seizure of more than 1,000 barrels and cans containing liquid from 10 liters to over 200 liters, more than 1,360 carton boxes containing liquid plastic bottles with many different brands, and some1,000 carton boxes of auto spare parts suspected of being fake products), many motorcycles, cars, documents and books. In addition, the police also discovered and seized many dangerous weapons.

Manh is also directly involved in the cheat of shifting the Director of An Giang Provincial Police to other local. An Giang Provincial Police will continue to investigate and clarify the illegal acts of Manh and his accomplices and to strictly handle related subjects.
