According to representatives of Anti- Drugs Enforcement Team (Nghe An Customs Department Team), at 7h30 p.m, on 22nd April 2018, at the Highway in Na Puc village, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, the Team coordinated with Division of Drugs Investigation (Nghe An Police) to detect 2 people illegally trafficking drugs in 618H specialized case.

During the arrest, the perpetrators fought hard against the arrest and one of them used a shotgun to shoot the competent force when trying to escape.

On-site inspection, the Specialized Investigation Board arrested Mr. Tho Pa Sau, born in 1975, seized 15 bars of heroin, 2 kg of crystal meth, 8,000 tablets of synthetic drugs, 400 US dollars and 2 mobile phones.

At the headquarters of the investigation agency, Tho Pa Sau explained that he was Mong ethnic, residing in Minh Chau village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong District, who is a teacher of Ri Le 2 primary school, Que Phong District.

On 22nd April 2018, in Quang Tien ward, Thai Hoa Town, the Hoang Mai Town Police coordinated with the Thai Hoa Town Police and Traffic Control Team, successfully destroyed the 817M specialized case and arrested the person driving a car with license plate No. 29S-2133, and seized 20 bars of heroin, worth VND 20 million, and 2 mobile phones.

At the headquarters of the investigation agency, the person exclaimed that’s his name was Nguyen Van Hai, born in 1985, residing in Ly Nhan District, Ha Nam province.

Nghe An Police said that Nguyen Van Hai was in the drug trafficking chain from Que Phong District via Highway 48 and to Hoang Mai Town and then transported to the Northern province for consumption. He was detected by Hoang Mai Town Police at the end of February 2018.

Currently, the specialized case is being investigated by competent force.
