250 procedures connected with National Single Window

As the Standing Agency of the National Steering Committee on ASEAN Single Window, National Single Window and Trade Facilitation (Steering Committee 1899), the General Department of Customs has been urging and closely working with ministries and agencies to implement the National Single Window, the ASEAN Single Window, and ASEAN Trade Facilitation.
Accordingly, the General Department of Customs has mobilized resources to build a master plan for developing an information technology system to serve the implementation of the National Single Window, the ASEAN Single Window towards centralized processing, and an action plan to implement the National Single Window to boost the logistics industry and facilitate trade in the 2022-2026 period to report to the Ministry of Finance to submit to the Government for approval.
As a result, by April 15, 2023, there were 250 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and branches connecting the National Single Window.
Regarding the ASEAN Single Window, the General Department of Customs has maintained official connections with all nine ASEAN member economies to exchange information on electronic certificates of origin form D; coordinated with ASEAN Secretariat and member economies to officially exchange ASEAN customs declarations as planned.
In addition, the General Department of Customs has prepared relevant requirements to connect and pilot the exchange of phytosanitary certificates in 2023 to develop solutions, and a roadmap for the exchange of electronic documents between ASEAN and partners such as Japan, China and South Korea.
Regarding the implementation of connection with non-ASEAN partners, the General Department of Customs has completed the exchange of export customs declarations with the Eurasian Economic Union in phase 1, and continued coordination to carry out phase 2; signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Electronic Origin Data Exchange System (EODES) with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the General Department of Customs of South Korea to facilitate the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement. Currently, the parties are continuing to complete technical issues to exchange electronic C/O information with South Korea.

Moreover, the General Department of Customs has coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the New Zealand Embassy to implement the exchange of electronic quarantine certificates with this country.
