20 local customs departments lead the list of administrative reform in 2020

On October 5, the General Department of Vietnam Customs issued Decision No. 2513/QD-TCHQ on the announcement of Public Administration Reform in 2020 of units under the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

Accordingly, there are 20 local customs departments leading the ranking. Specifically: Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Dak Lak, Dien Bien, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Lang Son, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Thanh Hoa. Ranking in second place is Gia Lai - Kom Tum Customs Department.

In third place are 11 units including: Bac Ninh, Binh Dinh, Cao Bang, Da Nang, Ha Giang, Ha Nam Ninh, Lao Cai, Long An, Quang Ngai, Tay Ninh and Thua Thien Hue. Fourth place include: An Giang and Kien Giang. Standing at the bottom of the ranking is Nghe An Customs Department.

Regarding those under the General Department of Vietnam Customs, leading units are the following: Customs Control and Supervision Department, Risk Management Department and Import-Export Duty Department. The second place is Customs Statistics and Information Technology Department and the Post-Clearance Audit Department. The third place is the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department, fourth place is Finance and Logistics Department and the last in the ranking is the Customs Department of Goods Verification.

For the units of the Customs Reform and Modernization Board, International Cooperation Department, Legal Department, Inspectorate Department and Personnel and Organisation Department ranked in the first place.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs requested the units to thoroughly grasp, learn from experience and have solutions to accelerate administrative reform, improve the public administration reform index of the unit in particular and the General Department of Vietnam Customs in general in the following years.
