17 Customs Departments have rate of Red channel declaration below average rate in the entire sector

There were 606,173 Green channel declarations, accounting for 57.5%; 390,402 Yellow channel declarations, accounting for 37.03%; Red channel declarations accounted for 5.46%. The rate of Red channel slightly increased (0.13%).
Therefore, 17 of 35 municipal and provincial Customs Departments had the low rate of Red Channel (below 5.46%) including: Ha Noi, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Nam Ninh, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Đinh, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dương, Tay Ninh, Đong Nai, Long An, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Quang Nam and Binh Phuoc.
Currently, the GDVC has deployed the scheme for “Improving quality and efficiency of channel classification of decisions on Customs inspection for import and export goods”
During the implementation of the scheme, Customs forces completed the development plan for channel classification and receipt of the system and pilot implementation, and completed a set of criteria and a set of indicators for risk management in Customs operation.

They also reviewed and evaluated results and the implementation of the Plan for risk management control and Schemes on risk management control in 2017, and completed the Project on encouraging business voluntary compliance with the Customs law.
