According to the Vietnam Registry Department, recently, some car models have been imported from China for sale on the market or exhibitions in Vietnam, which have navigation applications using images and data infringing Vietnamese sovereignty.

According to the press, these cars are ZOTYE and BAIC cars imported by Kylin - GX668 Trading Joint Stock Company, and Volkswagen Touareg car imported by World Automotive Co., Ltd for show.

Responding to this information, the Vietnam Registry Department has requested enterprises manufacturing, assembling and importing cars to check applications, documents and images on imported and assembled cars. If detecting images and data infringingVietnam's sovereignty, they are required to remove them.

At the same time, the Vietnam Registry Department will refuse to issue a certificate for the above-mentioned violations.
