Video: Customs units in key Southern provinces ensure customs clearance amid epidemic outbreak
VCN- Faced with the complicated developments of the pandemic, especially during this return of the pandemic, customs authorities in key Southern provinces with large travel of import and export goods, Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau have implemented many solutions to both ensure prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic and facilitate import and export activities of enterprises. Thereby, customs units recorded better revenue and import and export turnover than the same period last year.
From the first day of social distancing in Ho Chi Minh city at the end of May, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has quickly guided enterprises pandemic prevention during customs procedures; arranged disinfection cabinets for documents; and restricted number of enterprises at a same time. Customs branches have also arranged separate areas to receive documents of enterprises outside the customs procedure areas, and have not directly contacted with enterprises and install equipment to notify enterprises.
