Vicohn Biopharmaceutical Company Limited forced to suspend customs procedures for tax evasion

Linh Trung Export Processing Zone Customs Branch under HCM City Customs Department has issued a decision on enforcement by suspending customs procedures for imports and exports (except for goods falling under Clause 2, Article 131 of the Law on Tax administration dated June 13, 2019) involving Vicohn Biopharmaceutical Company Limited (tax code: 0313548002, address: Lot I-9-6, D2 Street, HCM City Hi-Tech Park, Long Thanh My Ward, Thu Duc City, HCM City).

The customs branch discontinued procedures for the company in line with official dispatch No. 4224/CCTTPTĐ-QLN dated April 23, 2024 of Thu Duc City Tax Department (HCMC Tax Department).

Vicohn Biopharmaceutical Company Limited is enforced for owning taxes and late payment interest since they miss the deadline for more than three months with the total enforced amount of over VND5.8 billion.

The decision, which has been in effect since May 13, will be terminated until the company fully pays its tax arrears.
