Two cars as means of administrative violations auctioned

VCN- The Ministry of Finance has issued a decision on handling confiscated means of administrative violation. Accordingly, the Ministry approved theaction plan for two cars that are material evidence, means of administrativeviolation seized by Nghe An Customs Department.

The Ministry of Finance has requested Nghe An Customs Department to take responsibility for asset handling in accordance with law provisions. Accordingly, the department must implement the asset auction in line with the provisions of Clause 3, Article 20 of Decree 29/2018/ND-CP and Clause 3, Article 12 of Circular 57/2018/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance and must comply with regulations on vehicle circulation as per the Law on road traffic.

The management and use of the proceeds from the auction and payment of expenses related to the disposal of assets will comply with the provisions of Chapter 4 of Decree 29/2018/ND-CP and Article 13 of Circular 57/2018/TT-BTC.

Specifically, one Toyota Camry was the car manufactured in 2015, chassis number LVGBM51K1FG504113, engine number 6ARP005759, black colour, made in China, cylinder capacity 1998ml, with the remaining value of 26.5%as of February 22, 2023.

According to Nghe An Customs Department, this is a used car without legal documents and showing signs of an accident. The value of this car determined by the Valuation Council (including NgheAn Customs Department, Nghe An Department of Finance, and Nghe An Department of Science and Technology) was worth VND190 million.

The other car is Kia Sportage five-seat car, manufactured in 2012, silver colour, chassis number KNAPC813DC7339498, engine number D4HACH092618, made in Korea, cylinder capacity 1998cc, diesel engine. The value of the car as of 22/2/2023 is 31.1%.

This is a used car without legal documents, and its engine cannot operate. Nevertheless, the Valuation Council determined the value of this car atVND 320 million.

Nghe An Customs Department said that the Customs Enforcement Team seized the two cars in May and June 2022.
