Reporting at the working session, Director of Bac Ninh Customs Department Tran Duc Hung said that during Tet holiday, the unit organized for officials, civil servants, and workers to celebrate Tet safely and healthily, and has arranged enough officers to ensure smooth cargo clearance, without arising any problems and violation of traffic safety, security and order, social safety, and ensuring state management of customs.
At the same time, Bac Ninh Customs Department assigned leaders, officers, civil servants and workers to be on duty during Tet holidays; and proactively handled arising tasks to ensure that the export and import activities of the enterprise during the Tet holiday were carried out normally and smoothly.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, from February 8 to 14, 2024, Bac Ninh Customs Department carried out procedures for 1,296 export declarations; total revenue reached US$477.48 million with the main products are raw materials, components, electronic products, solar cell panels...
Updated from January 1, 2024 to February 14, 2024, total export turnover reached US$19.72 billion; a total number of declarations reached 139,907 declarations; State budget revenue reached VND1,267 billion, an increase of 9% over the same period in 2023 and reached 11% compared to the assigned ordinance target (VND11,200 billion).
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the Bac Ninh Customs Department and Que Vo Joint Stock Company for organizing a safe Tet celebration, ensuring quick and cargo clearance for the business community during Tet.

“Through the meetings of the provincial leaders with the business community, businesses in the area highly appreciate the companionship and effective support of Bac Ninh Customs Department. Thanks to the efforts of Bac Ninh Customs Department, the province's investment and business environment is increasingly improved and more effective, creating attraction to businesses especially, FDI enterprises. In particular, during Tet holiday, while many forces were able to celebrate Tet with relatives, and families, and go sightseeing... but Bac Ninh Customs Department and Que Vo Tan Cang Joint Stock Company still arranged enough officers, civil servants and workers to handle customs procedures smoothly, ensuring the flow of import and export goods", Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee emphasized.
Promoting the achievements and impressive work results in the first days of 2024 and the beginning of the Lunar New Year, the Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the Bac Ninh Customs Department and Tan Cang Que Vo Joint Stock Company to continue their efforts, strive to complete the task in 2024.
