VCN- Drugs Control Team (Dien Bien Customs Department) has work in collaboration with other forces to arrested two perpetrators who transported 5,800 pills of synthetic drugs.

Implementation of project No 816V, at 4 PM date 7th September 2016, Drugs Control Team in coordination with the Police in Dien Bien district and the PC 47, the police on duty at Dien Bien Highway 12 (in groups 9, Thanh Binh ward, Dien Bien district) unexpectedly intercepted 2 people who were transportingnarcotics.

The working group requested them to stop for inspection, and the team they discovered inside the pockets of a raincoat inside the vehicle 29 packages containing a total of 5,800 pink pills, on each pill was printed “WY” suspected synthetic drugs.

The two perpetrators were Vu A Va, born in 1988 and Va A Thai, was born in 1986 (with residence in Thuan Chau district, Son La Province).

Vu A Va and Va A Thai said that these pills were synthetic drugs. They were brought from Son La province being transported to Dien Bien province for consumption.

Following the news from Customs News, in 7th September 2016, the Drugs Control Team coordinated with other forces to arrest 2 cases of 5 people transporting 8 packages of heroin, and 6,980 pills of synthetic drugs.
