Smuggling electric bike and car parts

the exhibits were seized by competent forces on 19/4.

On 19/4, Hon Gai port Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) coordinated with Quang Ninh police to detect and seize a vehicle that was transporting many smuggled spare parts.

Through the inspection, the competent force detected and seized 45 packages including 80 batteries of electric bike model 6 – DZM – 14Ah and 25 cylinders, wheel hub of the car that was packed in wooden parcel box. Those spare parts were produced in the foreign country, brand new 100%.

At the inspection time, the owner of the vehicle could not present any related documents to prove the lawful origin of the goods. Hon Gai port Customs Branch has made a record of temporary seizure, determined goods status and completed the handling dossiers in accordance with regulations.

Earlier, in the years of 2015 and 2016, the competent forces in Quang Ninh area detected many cases of shipping brake pads, bearings, screws… were imported illegally.
