Specifically, at the Dong Ha city landfill, Quang Tri Customs Department chaired and coordinated with the Department of Finance, the Department of Health of Quang Tri province, the police agencies of Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha city and Dong Ha Environment and Urban Works Joint Stock Company to destroy 32,430 products of 156 items which are material confiscated due to administrative violations (property has been established as the public ownership) seized by affiliated units.
The destroyed goods are mainly smuggled cosmetics and pharmaceutical products (24,342 products), smuggled foreign alcohol (96 bottles), and Ensure milk (6,210 bottles).
All goods are completely destroyed by mechanical means, then treated with chemicals and buried.

This is the second destruction of material evidence confiscated due to administrative violations organized by Quang Tri Customs Department, contributing to notification, education and deterrence for those who produce and trade in goods which do not meet the conditions of circulation on the market; helping protect the legitimate interests of genuine producers and traders; improve consumers' awareness in choosing good-quality products.
