Quang Ninh Customs strengthens the management of imported scraps

Accordingly, Quang Ninh Customs requires its units to strictly implement written directions by the General Department of Customs on customs management and supervision of imported scraps.
To study and comment on amendments and supplements to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 73/2014 / QD-TTg of December 19, 2014 which stipulates the list of scraps permitted to be imported from foreign countries as materials for production. At the same time, to closely follow the guidance of the General Department of Customs in gathering and analyzing information on the scrap imports; To strictly control imported scraps and promptly detect violations so as to prevent and strictly handle them according to regulations.
Customs Branches attached to Quang Ninh Customs Department are requested not to harass and trouble enterprises in the implementation of Customs procedures.

It is known that in order to assist local Customs Departments to promptly detect scrap shipments which are ineligible for imports, Customs IT and Statistics Department (under the General Department of Customs) has put a new function into operation on the information technology system to monitor and analyse the goods before its arrival. The new function is designed to provide warnings related to imported scrap shipments.
