Quang Ninh Customs put effort to improve business environment

On March 14, 2023, Quang Ninh Customs issued Plan No. 734/KH-HQQN on the implementation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 6, 2023, on key tasks and solutions to implement the plan on socio-economic development, state budget estimates, business environment improvement and enhancing national competitiveness in 2023.
The plan was issued to implement solutions effectively, contribute to improving the business environment, and facilitate import and export activities, contributing to the successful implementation of the objectives and tasks following the Decision No. 199/QD-TCHQ dated February 16, 2023 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs on the issuance of the Action Plan for the implementation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 6, 2023, of the Government on the main tasks and solutions for the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate, business environment improvement, and national competitiveness enhancement in 2023.
In this plan, Quang Ninh Customs Department will continue to prioritize the effective implementation of solutions that contribute to maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, promoting growth, and ensuring major balances of the economy.
Actively participating in building and perfecting institutions and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of law enforcement organizations, ensuring discipline, stepping up the prevention and fight against corruption, negativity and wastefulness.
Furthermore, continuing to promote administrative reform in association with building e-Government and digital government, digital customs, improving the business environment, and enhancing national competitiveness.
In addition, continuing to strive to upgrade the indexes in the set of district and department competitiveness index (DDCI) contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 02-NQ/CP dated January 10, 2022.
To implement the above key tasks, Quang Ninh Customs has focused on strictly implementing Directive No. 479/CT-TCHQ dated February 6, 2023, of the Director General of Vietnam Customs on the implementation of drastic measures to facilitate trade, improve the effectiveness of state management, prevent revenue loss in the implementation of revenue collection tasks; ensure correct, sufficient and timely collection following provisions of law, strive to achieve the assigned target of state revenue in 2023 of VND 12,000 billion.
Quang Ninh Customs also strengthens inspection, examination, supervision and control of power. Prevent and combat corruption, negativity and wastefulness; step up inspection, control, prevent and strictly handle acts of trade fraud and illegal trading goods.
At the same time, it promotes reform of official duties, renovating the work of personnel, and effectively deploying a set of indicators for directing, administering and evaluating service quality for people and businesses in the implementation of administrative procedures and public services over time of performance in the electronic environment.
