Prosecute the case of smuggling relating to An Binh Company with value of violated consignment more than VND 31 billion

VCN – The Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) has prosecuted a case of smuggling relating to Hanoi Import Export An Binh Co., Ltd (referred to as An Binh company), with the value of infringing shipment up to tens of billions of VND.

According to a source of Customs News, on January 11, the Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department prosecuted a criminal case in Ha Nam relating to the violation in import – export activity of An Binh company.

On January 12, the Supreme People's Procuracy decided to transfer criminal cases and exhibits to the Investigation Police Department of Ha Nam Province for investigation.

According to investigation documents, An Binh company had a sign of forging the entire customs dossier and intentionally making false declaration of goods to illegally import goods with a total value of more than VND 31 billion, the amount of tax fraud was more than VND 10 billion.
