Thus, to complete the estimates of State budget revenues of 270,000 billion vnd, Customs must collect 17,420 billion vnd within the last sixteen days of 2016 an average revenue per day of 1,088 billion vnd. And to reach the assigned target of 275,000 billion vnd of the Ministry of Finance, Customs must collect 22,492 billion vnd an average revenue per day of 1,405 billion vnd.

Now, there are 17 provincial and city Customs Departments completed and exceeded their assigned target at the ordinance on State budget revenue such as: Hanoi Customs achieved 101.26 %; Dong Nai Customs achieved 102.99%; Binh Duong Customs achieved 100.67%, Bac Ninh Customs achieved 108.24 %, Quang Ngai achieved 130.6%; Da Nang Customs achieved 154.18%; Khanh Hoa Customs achieved 169.99%; Quang Nam achieved 122.67%; Nghe An Customs achieved 104.03%, Hue Customs achieved 142.27%, Ha Giang Customs achieved 124.04%; Dak Lak Customs achieved 195.17%, Binh Phuoc Customs achieved 193.85%; An Giang achieved 116.09%; Ca Mau achieved 413.99%; Kien Giang achieved 108.27%, and Ha Nam Ninh achieved 170.83%.

The provincial and city Customs Departments gained the large revenues at target such as: Ho Chi Minh City Customs reached 92.37%; Hai Phong Customs reached 92.32%; Ba Ria – Vung Tau Customs reached 82.20% and Quang Ninh Customs reached 98.68%.

Some provincial and city Customs Departments reached the rate of State budget revenue under 50% such as: Thanh Hoa Customs reached 32.69%; Binh Dinh Customs reached 44,28%, Dong Thap Customs reached 31.81%; Ha Tinh Customs reached 34.89%; and Gia Lai – Kontum reached 48.85%.

In the last days of 2016, consistent with measures of State budget revenues from the first days of 2016, the leaders of the General Department of Customs required Customs units to focus on and facilitate trade, in parallel with that strengthen the measures for anti–tax losses, post-clearance audit, anti-smuggling and anti-trade fraud, and strive to reach the target of State budget revenues assigned by the National Assembly, the Government and the Ministry of Finance.

Besides, the General Department of Customs sent a written request to Customs at Customs units at seaports and border gates to assign officials to work every day of the week (including Saturday and Sunday) to ensure Customs clearance time 24/7 and facilitate export activities of enterprises to be handled at any time. Also recommending the State Treasury and commercial banks in cooperation with the General Department of Customs in State budget revenues to arrange collection places and working time on the weekend to facilitate enterprises in payment of import-export duties and cargo clearance.
