Noi Bai Customs performs pandemic prevention and ensures strict control of goods

Facing the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic in the world as well as in the country, the Hanoi Customs Department has instructed heads of the units to be responsible for thoroughly explaining to all customs officials and workers, especially customs officials at the customs branch who regularly interact with people and enterprises, to improve their responsibility, focus highly on the implementation of measures to prevent and fight against the pandemic, with absolutely no neglect.

Implementation of the 5K message of the Ministry of Health (masks, disinfection, distance, no crowds, medical declarations); install and use Bluezone application and electronic medical declaration to timely detect, trace and prevent the pandemic from spreading.

At the same time, the units regularly monitor the health status of customs officials under their management, promptly notify cases of officials, employees and of suspected Covid-19 infection; implementing spraying workplace sterilisation to prevent the pandemic from spreading; ensure the implementation of anti-pandemic and maintain the normal operation of the unit.

In particular, the Hanoi Customs Department instructed the Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, besides implementing pandemic prevention and control, to strengthen to control and closely supervise people, goods and means of transport starting from pandemic-hit countries or regions enter through the border gates.

Coordinate with agencies at the border gate to quickly carry out procedures, inspect and assign specialised units to perform isolation in accordance with regulations for visitors on entry to the country.
