VCN-According to Nghe An Customs Department, the Anti-drug Enforcement Team has coordinated with the Nghe An Border Guard and Ky Son Police to arrest two suspects who were transporting 60,000 tablets of synthetic drugs and 2 kg of crystal meth.

Infringing goods seized by competent force.

On July 24, alongNational Highway 7 in Ba village, the Division of Drug and Crime Control, the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate and My Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with Ky Son Police and the Anti-drug Enforcement Team of Nghe An Customs Department in arresting Xong Ba Tu, born in 1989, residing in Ai Khe village, and Xong Ba Va, born in 1988, residing in Huoi Khe Village, for theillegal transportation of drugs.

The team seized 60,000 tablets of synthetic drugs, 2kg crystal meth and a grenade.

The representative of the Anti-drug Enforcement Team said that during the arrest, the suspects tried to use the grenade to fight against the team but by implementing specialised operation, the team arrested the two suspects.

Currently, the working team has investigated and completed a dossier to prosecute the case.
