Make a difference in fighting counterfeiting and online fraud

The program is directed by the Central Propaganda Department, Electronic Newspaper of the Communist Party in coordination with the General Department of Market Surveillance, the General Department of Customs, the Vietnam Association for Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection, the Department of Intellectual Property, VNet Joint Stock Company and related agencies and units.
This is an activity to promote propaganda on anti-counterfeiting and consumer protection in e-commerce, while raising awareness, responsibility and basic skills to ensure information security in cyberspace.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper of the Communist Party, said that the contest is one of the coordinated activities to implement Decision No. 319/QD-TTg, dated March 29, 2023 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on anti-counterfeiting and consumer protection in e-commerce until 2025; Decision No. 1907/QD-TTg dated November 23, 2020 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Propaganda, raising awareness and disseminating knowledge on information security for the period 2021 - 2025".

At the same time, the contest aims to respond to the propaganda campaign "Skills to identify and prevent online fraud to protect people in cyberspace in 2024" launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Accordingly, the contest content includes: Party guidelines, State policies and laws on anti-counterfeiting and consumer protection; how to distinguish genuine and fake goods; things to know to become a smart consumer; laws on information security; awareness, responsibility and basic skills to ensure information security in cyberspace; skills to identify and prevent online fraud.
The contest is organized in the form of an online test at chonghanggia.dangcongsan.vn, starting at 10:00 a.m. every Monday and ending at 9:00 a.m. the following Monday. Contestants can participate in the Contest on Vietnam Electronic Newspaper of the Communist Party (dangcongsan.vn), the VCNet social network (vcnet.vn) and electronic newspapers/magazines, electronic information pages/portals of agencies, units, and localities that link to the Contest.
Contestants are Vietnamese citizens and foreigners currently residing in Vietnam, aged 14 or older at the time of taking the exam, are eligible to participate.
The Contest has a total prize value of 240 million VND. In which, each week of the contest has 5 prizes: 1 First prize worths 3 million VND; 2 Second prizes worth 2 million VND each and 3 Third prizes worth 1 million VND each.
The awards will be announced immediately after the weekly contest results (no later than 2:00 p.m. every Monday) on the Vietnam Electronic Newspaper of Communist Party, VCNet social network and mass media.
Every week, Vietnam Electronic Newspaper of the Communist Party - the Contest's host agency sends the Award Certificate to the winners by post, and also sends the prize money by post or to the winners' personal accounts.
The Contest Organizing Committee also plans to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the Contest, localities and units with the highest number of contestants and many winners.
With the "Scratch the anti-counterfeit stamp - Get lucky immediately" award program, directly organized by VNet Joint Stock Company - the Contest's sponsor. Participants are all customers nationwide who buy products with VTrue anti-counterfeit stamps and authenticate the stamps. The total prize of the program “Scratch the anti-counterfeit stamp - Get lucky immediately” is 600 million VND.
The time of the program is that the drawing will be conducted once a month at 8:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month at the studio of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper of the Communist Party and will be broadcast live on the Program's official media channels.
