Lao Cai: Reducing fees of using border infrastructure due to the impact of Covid-19

VCN – The People’s Council of Lao Cai province issued Resolution No.03/2020/NQ-HĐND on reducing the collection rates of the number of fees and receipts contributing from exploiting minerals to invest in transport infrastructure, improving environment due to the impact of Covid-19 in Lao Cai province in 2020.

On June 23, talking to reporters, the leaders of Lao Cai Economic Zone Authority said Resolution No. 03/2020/NQ-HDND takes effect from August 1, 2020.

Notably, the resolution stipulating the reduction of fee rates for using infrastructure works, service facilities and public utilities in the border gate area in Lao Cai province is specified in Resolution No. 04/2019/NQ-HDND dated July 10, 2019 of Lao Cai People's Council.

Specifically, for cars with a capacity of less than 4 tonnes, the fee will be applied at VND 50,000/ time/vehicle for cargo truck transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (reduced VND 30,000/time/vehicle compared to the old fee level).

Applying the rate of VND 80,000 /time/vehicle for trucks transporting other imported and exported goods (down VND 40,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).

For cars with capacity between 4 tonnes and under 10 tonnes, the fee will be applied at VND 140,000/time/vehicle for cargo trucks transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (down VND 60,000/time/vehicle compared to old rate).

Applying the rate of VND 210,000/time/vehicle for trucks transporting other imports and exports (down VND 90,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).

For cars with a capacity between 10 tonnes and under 18 tonnes, the fee will be applied at VND 280,000/time/vehicle to cargo truck transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (down VND 120,000/time/vehicle compared to old rate).

Applying the rate of VND 350,000/time/vehicle for vehicles transporting other import and export goods (reduced by VND 150,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).

For 20-feet container trucks, the fee will be VND 210,000/time/vehicle for cargo trucks transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (VND 90,000/time/vehicle compared to the old one).

Applying a rate of VND 350,000/time/vehicle for vehicles transporting other imported and exported goods (down by VND 150,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).

For cars with a capacity of 18 tonnes or more, the fee will be applied at VND 490,000/time/vehicle for cargo trucks transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (reduced VND 210,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).

Applying a rate of VND 560,000/time/vehicle for vehicles transporting other imported and exported goods (down VND 240,000/time/vehicle from the old rate).

For 40-feet container trucks, the fee will be applied at VND 350,000/time/vehicle to cargo truck transporting exported agricultural products of Vietnam (down by VND 150,000/time/vehicle).

Applying a rate of VND 560,000/time/vehicle for vehicles transporting other imported and exported goods (down VND 240,000/time/vehicle compared to the old rate).
